European Journal of Economics, Law and Politics (ELP)
The European Journal of Economics, Law, and Politics (ELP) is a biannual, peer-reviewed scientific journal published in March and October. Established in 2014, ELP aims to foster open access and a flexible yet rigorous peer-review process. Since its foundation on European soil, the journal has become a platform for researchers worldwide. All ELP articles undergo peer review and adhere to open-access standards, making them freely accessible to the scientific community.
ELP offers an open review option, encouraging reviewers to disclose their names and review reports to authors and the public. This commitment to transparency enhances the peer-review process, with each article featuring a “review history” document containing approved reviewer names and reports.
Despite being distinct disciplines, there is an undeniable connection and interdependence among economics, law, and politics. In practice, these fields are intricately linked, as the economy’s performance is a key political battleground. Conversely, politics can shape legal values, and political initiatives often necessitate legal changes within defined boundaries. This connection extends beyond national borders to the international level. The contemporary intertwining of global political relations, the international economy, and the legal system is evident. Failures in enforcing peaceful resolutions to international political disputes at the legal level often lead to visible economic effects on regional or global scales.
The European Journal of Economics, Law, and Politics welcomes submissions that explore theories, methods, and applications in economics, legal studies, and political sciences, whether analyzed separately or in their mutual interdependence.
