The European Journal of Economics, Law, and Politics welcomes submissions focusing on theories, methods, and applications in economics, legal, and political sciences analyzed separately or in their mutual interdependence.
European Journal of Economics, Law and Politics (ELP)
The European Journal of Economics, Law and Politics (ELP) is a bi-annually published journal in economics, legal, and political sciences.
ELP publishes new editions at the end of March and October each year.
Since the inception of ELP in 2014, on European soil, numerous researchers from Europe and around the globe have chosen to publish their manuscripts with the journal. All of ELP articles are peer-reviewed and freely available to the public. Authors are also able to track and measure the visibility of their articles by accessing the number of downloads.
Timely publications of the ELP are uploaded on our website.
Despite the fact that economics, law, and politics are separate scientific disciplines, there is an indisputable connection and interdependence between them. In practice, there is a strong relationship among economics, law, and politics because the performance of the economy is one of the key political battlegrounds. On the other hand, politics can define certain predominantly legal values, and political promises and programs very often need to be implemented through legal changes because the legal framework provides the boundaries of what can and cannot be done.
This is the case not only on a national but also on an international level. Especially today, we can all witness the connection between international political relations, the international economy, and the international legal system. Very often, when the international legal system and its set of norms fail to enforce a peaceful resolution of certain international political disputes, the economic effects are always visible and can be felt on a regional or even global scale.
